How do I make my Phone As A Key work better?

Using the Ford app^*, you can optimize your Phone As A Key™^** device for best performance. 

Optimizing Phone As A Key

To optimize your Phone As A Key settings in the Ford app, follow the steps below.

1. Log in to the Ford app.
2. Ensure you have the correct vehicle selected, then scroll down the screen and choose Phone As A Key under Settings.
3. Locate the Optimize section under the Device keys section.
4. Choose a menu item to adjust the settings.
   • If a check mark is shown for an item, you cannot select it, as your Phone As A Key settings are at top performance levels.
   • If an exclamation mark is shown, you can adjust your settings by tapping the menu item using the recommended steps provided by the app.

When a setting has been successfully adjusted, a check mark will appear, and you can no longer tap it. Once all menu items have a check mark, your Phone As A Key settings are at top performance levels.
